The Cabinet Office's Analysis & Insight Team have decided to close this blog, meaning no further posts will be made and the blog will be archived.
Generally, our blogs have been about one of three topics: civil society analysis, horizon scanning and employee engagement within the civil service.
The first two topics are no longer part of the team’s remit. Civil society analysis is now the responsibility of the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport following the transfer of the Office for Civil Society in 2016. Our work on horizon scanning also transferred to another part of the Cabinet Office in 2015.
Our work on employee engagement and delivering the Civil Service People Survey continues, but posts about this work will now appear on the main Civil Service blog.
